CSCP Newsletter August 2013

Dear Reader,

Right within a hot summer – at least in the northern hemisphere – the CSCP has some hot news from our projects from around the world. In this newsletter we cover how we are collaborating with the retail industry in India, with the information and communication technology sector in Germany, how we are engaging consumers in North Rhine-Westphalia on sustainable lifestyles, and what visitors from China like about European sustainable interior renovation.

Celebrate with us the anniversary of our Global Networks on Sustainable Lifestyles and on Sustainable Innovation and Entrepreneurship and learn about what they offer and about the opportunities to engage with these leading networks.

Expert forum: Collaborative Consumption - a new eco-efficient way of consuming?

Sharing, swapping and lending from consumer to consumer is a trend. No matter if it is cars, clothing or food – this type of Collaborative Consumption is possible through the internet.  A key outstanding question is how this method of consuming relates to sustainability. Are there benefits for society and the environment? What are they?  What are the drivers and conditions that support success?

These questions and more will be discussed by Michael Kuhn, Head of the CSCP, as an invited speaker at the FA!R2013 forum.
