December 22, 2015  Conference

“Fortschritt gestalten” – your opportunity to get involved in the international debate on our worlds future.

The federal state government of North Rhine Westphalia invites you to the 3rd “Fortschritt gestalten” on 25 January 2016 in Düsseldorf  where global challenges and the international debate on the world’s future will be discussed.

Vital questions are: How can economic growth, progress and prosperity be accomplished in all parts of society? Do we have a strategy to reduce the gap between rich and poor and reduce the disparity? How can north Rhine Westaphalia as a ‚state of change’ contribute to giving people that are on the run because of poverty and war a new home?

The CSCP is supporting the progress initiated by the ministries of innovation, science and research, of economy, energy, industry, middle class and craft, of building, living, urban development and traffic and of labor, integration and social life of North Rhine Westphalia. The CSCP is leading the working group on “The future dialog between society and business” and has conducted several workshops and events in the last years to gather input on what is needed to bring this topic forward in the future. The CSCP will also be present during the conference and its results will be integrated in the work of the working group.

Key note speakers of the event are Prof. Danny Leipziger (Director Growth Dialogue, Georg Washington University, Washington D.C.), Carrie Exton (OECD), Prof. Claus Leggewie (Director Kulturwissenschaftliches Institut Essen (KWI) and other experts from the fields of economy, science and society.
