The CATALYST project organised its final event during the CAPS2015 conference in Brussels on July 7-8, 2015. The CATALYST project develops and tests Collective Intelligence tools for online communities, which work on finding solutions for societal challenges. The CSCP is testing the tools with online communities working on sustainable lifestyles.
The event took place during the OFF Programme of the yearly CAPS conference and comprised a panel session with more than 200 participants, where Rosa Strube, project manager at CSCP, presented the lessons learn from the community work of the project. During a workshop and a demo session, participants could also discuss community engagement and test the tools Assembl, LiteMap, DebateHub, Edgesense and the CI Dashboard.
The CATALYST tool Edgesense provided a visualisation of the official hashtag of the event #CAPS15eu, which after the two conference days demonstrated a network of close to 2500 relationships across 500 people (see picture above).
