CSCP hosts workshop on Deutsche Welle Global Media Forum 2012

From 25-27 June, this year's Deutsche Welle Global Media Forum in Bonn will spotlight "Culture. Education. Media. Shaping a Sustainable World". The CSCP will host a workshop on June 26th on the topic of Sustainable Lifestyles and Communication and Journalism of the Future. The workshop aims to develop a better understanding of the influence that different media and communications have on lifestyles. It will explore the role that journalists and communication experts can play in advancing citizen understanding and engagement, and to encourage the questioning and challenging of current ways of living in order to pave pathways to the development of more sustainable ones. The discussions will develop around the scenarios for future sustainable lifestyles, which have been developed as part of the SPREAD Sustainable Lifestyles 2050 project.

The Deutsche Welle Global Media Forum is a congress with international reach. It draws media representatives from around the world and people from the fields of politics, culture, business, development and science. View the video at the bottom or on the Global Media Forum here
