At the Rio+20UN Sustainable Development Conference, the CSCP proudly launched two new global networks with the support of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). Although both networks have been built on a foundation of knowledge sharing, connecting people and enhancing collaboration, the networks are both unique in their focus and objectives. The Vision:
The Global Network on Sustainable Lifestyles (GNSL) builds linkages across the globe to connect current work on sustainable consumption and lifestyles. The network offers a platform to connect experts, practitioners, leaders, learners and unusual suspects to facilitate new partnerships that lead to thought and action.
What is it about?
The GNSL aims to show how sustainable living is possible today. The network is built on the principles of communicating and translating sustainable lifestyle practices, enabling cross-pollination and action as well as developing, implementing and sharing tools, methodologies, initiatives, visions and many other ways to enable sustainable lifestyles. Interaction is facilitated through an online social platform in addition to various events that enable personal interaction.

What is it about?
Making collaboration happen! The network was established to connect the many organisations, networks and individuals in the private, public and consumer sectors develop and nurture synergies and a critical global mass that will enable business to contribute to sustainable living.
A number of Workstudios and online webinars will be organised through the global network with the first being held in Bogotá, Columbia on December 3, 2012.
